I’m seeing a very disturbing trend taking place across the somewhat hidden edges of the Internet… Individuals from overseas, Pakistan and the like, filing poorly drafted DMCA complaints to Google on behalf of their “clients”. Google, not wanting to get sued, promptly stops linking (in most cases). However, instead they show the viewer that they use Lumen (down below). That provides relatively quick access to many dozens, if not hundreds, of exact links where the content can be found, replicated, and redistributed elsewhere. Some “clients” giddily, yet foolishly, believe that their photos have somehow been removed from the Internet by said individuals as a result. Nothing could be further from the truth. Deletion of the photos altogether is the best way. Otherwise the “weed” will likely grow back or worse, replicate…
